With our fleet of customized King Air B200 aircraft we provide a local satellite-like relay service for television and radio broadcasters around the world. A team of specialized pilots can position the aircraft virtually anywhere in the world whenever a reliable high-bandwidth and private link is required.
We aren't simply an aircraft operator that happens to provide relay services. WorldLinX was founded by broadcast experts to serve a very specific market segment — and such a narrow specialty requires an exceptionally deep understanding of the operation. Outside of the flight planning and execution itself, WorldLinX can provide and assist with all related technical services, including auto-tracking systems, RF links and ground reception systems.
The fleet of King Air B200 aircraft has a lot of traits that are ideally suited for relay-type work. With a pressurised cabin we can operate at altitudes up to 28,000 feet or ~8.5 km. With a broad envelope of speeds we are able to position quickly to remote areas while still being able to fly slow while performing relay work. With full anti-ice and IFR certification the B200 is suited to fly in virtually any weather. A maximum fuel capacity of around 3,500 lbs provides up to 7 hours of flight time depending on payload, location and weather.
As WorldLinX management consists of highly experienced broadcast veterans, we are well aware about changing schedules and constraints that live television production often requires. Furthermore, our pilots have a hands-on and practical mindset and changes -regularly last-minute - are something we understand comes with the nature of our work. With direct communication in an efficient team we are ready to accommodate anything a television production might require while maintaining high safety and legal standards.
